CRE cables on drill support and vessel based ROV for world’s deepest well by water depth

Oil company Total E&P Uruguay plan to drill the Raya-1 field in 3,400 metres water depth. Fugro is supplying two state-of-the-art 200hp FCV 4000D work-class ROV systems and subsea tooling. They will be installed on board the Maersk Venturer drilling ship and a field support vessel. CRE continue to extend the range of products designed in house with the launch of new contact options for the ‘B’ size electrical dry mate connector.
